I picked up a BDP-301 yesterday at Costco... After paying tax it was just under $300..

I see Amazon has a BDP-300 with Spiddy3 and POTC for just a tad over $300...

hmmmmm Anyone know if they'll take back my player minus the UPC code on the side?

Costco will take anything back, virtually no matter what. They are very good about this sort of thing.

They are, but minus the UPC is a different story, they probably will not but it is worth a call to them to find out before you make the trip and them tell you "no" to your face...

If it were me, I'd just buy Pirates and Spiderman and not worry about it, especially since the UPC code is no longer on the box. Did you send that in for your free movies?

I work there. You don't need the box or even the reciept. They'll give you a full refund so don't worry...

Same here, only with a subwoofer. Didn't ask for the box, didn't even blink. Just took it back with a smile.

Since Costco has a better warranty deal. Why not just keep it.
