Default Fathom Events: Roman Holiday ( 1953)

Anyone go to see this, either on Subday or today/tonight? I went to the showing this afternoon. Had a nice introduction about the history of the movie and then also a TCM introduction. It's great to see classics on the big screen. I thought the picture quality looked very nice. How Roman Holiday is STILL not on Blu-Ray is beyond me.

Guess that explains why I'm sitting in the theater right now

Saw this on Sunday. It was my birthday, and seeing my favorite actress on the big screen for the first time was pure joy.

I've seen this film numerous times on dvd and tv, but it felt like it seeing it for the first time in the theater. The full audience responded to it well. Quiet at all the right moments, laughing at all the right moments. Great time.

Here's hoping the blu-ray is finally coming in 2016!

Went to the 7pm showing on Sunday. It was wonderful to see Hepburn and Peck towering on the big screen. The material they showed before and after the film was great, though I wish they hadn't shown so many scenes from the movie in the intro... after all I'm sure there were at least some folks who have never seen the movie before.

Overall a great experience and I'm very happy I went.
