Removing PS3 wallpaper - Blu-ray Forum

Can anyone direct me how to permanently erase images stored as wallpaper?

I downloaded a DMC4 image which saved to photos. I set it as the wallpaper. Then I deleted the image from photos. However, this is still assigned as "wallpaper" under theme settings, which means it's still stuck in the system somewhere. How do I get rid of it?

You can only set another picture as your wallpaper which overwrites the old one.

You just get a new wallpaper.

So there's no way to go back to the default black background? That's odd.

There's a seperate option (Original) for using the original colour shaded background with the wave.

I had an Uncharted wallpaper I deleted from images that kept appearing when I applied some themes.. quite annoying.
