Just received a new 103D.
Picture looks great. I tried Darbe effect with split screen demo and can not see a difference no matter how high I crank it up or down. Shouldn't the difference be very obvious? Anyway it looks great. I am running source direct out. Maybe that setting bypasses the Darbe? My only other concern is the optical output connection. I usually prefer the RCA coaxial output over the optical in most cases, but I need to run both digital outputs to two separate units. (No HDMI for sound) My optical cable will not fully snap into the output. I can get it to sit in place and produce sound, but I want a more secure connection. I can't seem to get it to fully SNAP in. Might it be defective? Or is it the cable? The opposite end of the optical cable snaps into my Amp just fine. And what is the deal with the little doors on optical outputs? Should they close when the cable is removed? The door on my player does not close when I remove the loose cable- this is also why I think it may be defective. Can I just remove the it? Maybe it is getting in the way? |
