Default Do you feel compelled to buy a blu ray when there is a significant price drop?

I have been back to being a bit addicted to buying blu ray's. Was a bit better about my buying then when I saw so many good sales started buying again. I bought the Brandon Fraser Mummy collection at Best Buy a month ago when it was on sale for 17.99, couldn't pass that up at that price. Right now I am considering getting the complete Batman series in blu ray because the price is the lowest I have ever seen for this set and am afraid if I don't buy it in the next day or two the price will go back up. Do you feel compelled to buy a blu ray when the price is significantly reduced?

Only if it's on my wants list, if it's something I like but not desperate to get it on Blu-ray I'd be tempted, but rather get something else.

I'm more likely to blind buy something I'm interested in if there's a significant price drop.

Good for you to have restraint and only buy if it is on your wants list. When I bought the mummy collection it was more of a blind buy for me but couldn't resist the low price.

Understand about your willingness to blind buy when the price has significantly dropped. Price is usually a big factor for me.

I will definitely buy the upcoming Mill Creek release of Leonard Part 6 if it drops to $7.99 or under.

Not really. I would say that if I don't buy it within a couple weeks of release the chances that I'll buy a bluray go way down. Doesn't matter how cheap it gets.

I used to be compelled several years ago, but now with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc if I'm just looking for something new to watch I'll go there rather than paying for another disc to sit on the shelf. I only buy what I want, not what is cheap.

Only if it's a movie that I want to own in the first place.

A low price will not make a bad movie any better.

I do all the time, but if I don't blind buy shortly after release I probably won't buy it. Too many new shiney blurays to buy.

As others have said, if it's a title I have been waiting for a drop on.
