Question whats best flash drive 2.0 to use sony bluray player these days

a few years ago when i 1st got bluray player went to electronic express bought emtec 16 gb usb flash drive 2.0

when samsung broke bought sony 3200 and kept using emetc flash drive well for some odd reason last night flash drive won't reconize in bluray player anymore which is funny because everything was working that morning

i don't take flash drive 2.0 out of bluray player btw it seems doesn't work anymore when i try to use it different bluray player
now right now i found a hp 8gb flash drive 2.0 and its working however i will like to get another 16 gb of space flash drive again

apprently electronic express no longer sells emtec 2.0 flash drives anymore

i have call them radio shack and walmart all claiming that scandisc is the way to go?

yes i only have usb flash drive 2.0 to watch bd live bluray player

i could maybe order another emtec or buy a different brand not so sure

so i'm asking what's best one to get these days

I bet they meant Sandisk

Sandisk is the more reliable of flash drives IMO as well, 16GB should be super cheap nowadays. A 3.0 flash drive is backwards compatible with 2.0 devices and will work just the same in older hardware that has 2.0. So you can get a 3.0 and should work just as great, maybe your device has 3.0 and will run even better. Another brand is Lexar.

Sounds to me like your Emtec died, flash storage has a limited read write lifespan, once it reaches it it dies.
