Default Goodnight Mommy - Which version?

There are two versions listed on Amazon DE, the German one which I know is 1080i, and an Austrian version. Does anyone know if the Austrian version is also 1080i and if it has English subtitles?

I have the german Blu-ray (Label: Koch Media) in my collection and its not 1080i, its 1080p and it got english subtitles (and a slipcover)
But regarding your question about the austrian Blu-ray (Label: Hoanzl) - I'm not quite sure, but the homepage of "Hoanzl" says yes for english subtitles ("Untertitel"): http://www.hoanzl.at/catalog/product...4/category/54/

Huh, I wonder if Koch corrected later pressings then, it's listed 1080i here and Caps-a-Holic. Thanks for the info.

My Koch Media copy is 1080i, not 1080p.

Sorry for the confusion, the Koch-Media Disc is indeed only 1080i, just re-checked it
I blame it on my hangover.

It's 1080i and also in 25 fps.
Maybe the movie was shot with 25 fps - some european movies are.

You mean the Austrian version is also 1080i?

On the website of Hoanzl (Austrian distributor) the runtime says 96 minutes. If that's correct, I'd assume it's 1080i25 as well. I only own the Koch, so I can't say for sure.

Hoanzl releases are a mixed bag quality wise.
They released some of my favourite Austrian movies like Come Sweet Death (2000) and Indien (1993).

Some are HD, sadly most of them are upscaled PAL.

Can you tell me which ones are actual hd and which ones are upscales?
I'm interested in the 12 movie bundle because hey, im austrian and many of them are classics for me that i love.
But i own all of them on dvd already and not interested in buying upscaled blu rays...

Thanks for any info!

I don't own all of them but Knochenmann, Indien and Contact High are HD.
Poppitz, Muttertag, Come Sweet Death and Nacktschnecken are Upscales. They don't look much better than a mediocre DVD.

I don't know about the other films.
