What's up everyone,
I'm from Philadelphia, trying to plan a long weekend trip to Boston for me and my wife. Likely going to drive (it's about 6 hours) unless it's that much easier to take the train. I've been to Boston once before when my brother ran the marathon. It wasn't much of a sight seeing trip since I was there for him, we of course went to bed early and I wanted to make sure he was feeling good and comfortable for the race. I did enjoy the town, though. I remember thinking there were a lot of bars and stuff around Fenway Park, seemed like a cool part of town. I have several questions if anyone's willing to help. -Is there any particular part of town you recommend we stay? Like, where "the action" is, I guess? -Any local restaurants or lunch places you feel I have to try if I'm in Boston? My wife's kind of a foodie. -Any districts that are active for night life? Any cool microbreweries or clubs? -Any historical sights or museums worth checking out? -Sort of specific, but if anyone is into hip-hop can you provide insight to the local dj/hip-hop scene? Any underground parties or things like that? Thanks for the help, please feel free to let me know anything you can. |
