This series is generally well known in Western European countries and as well as Latin American ones, but the amount of physical releases were very limited.

FAQ:
1) Is there a Japanese DVD Release? It only seems it came out on VHS.
2) What's the best release of it? The German 2 DVD Boxset.
3) Does a HD Remaster exist yet? No.

I watched this in January/February on MondoTV's YouTube and really enjoyed it. I looked for a physical release and noticed the lack of physical release as well. Hopefully one will come out eventually.

I've just become aware that the TV Movie was released on DVD in Germany, but dang is it hard to find info about the products of this franchise.

It's just the TV series recut for film length. Some European-Japanese series did this.
