Default Help Select New Slim Reciever

Hello, - It's been about 3 years since my last post it seems. I need to replace my Onkyo TX-SR507 as it seems that the issue that I started battling years ago is related to heat. HDMI dropping out now switching back and forth issues etc. Seems Onkyo was the issue all these years. I did read about some Onkyo warranty fix but honestly I don't have time for all that and besides that, with the years of struggle and time wasted on trouble shooting, I will never buy another Onkyo again. I only need 5.1. I need to buy something reliable that sounds good and I can enjoy years of trouble free listening. The height of the Onkyo is 6 inches tall and that is all the space I have. So i think I'm looking for a slim receiver but the watts on these seem to be much lower than standard. The highest watts on a slim receiver I found is 60w per channel on a Marantz. Can anyone suggest something for me? If the answer is that I need to find more space to buy a standard size receiver, then I'd like to hear that.
Thanks.
