Apparently, the film also has an extended version which will premiere as a three-hour miniseries on November 9th on CBC in Canada and on November 13th on AMC in the USA. Presumably, there will be commercial breaks, as AMC says there is only about 16 minutes of new footage:

That's really good information that the new footage is only 16 minutes. I had assumed there were no commercials in the new runtime!

So... can anyone confirm, none of the extended footage is on the Blu-ray, is that correct? Pretty annoying if so, especially since personally I thought this film was just okay. (I also thought Tetris was just okay, so idk... I wanted more depth I guess.) They should have included the extended version on the Blu-ray or just included the extra footage as deleted scenes.

16 minutes isn't nothing... that's an additional ~13% or 1/8 of the current runtime.
