I was always a Prince fan. Purple Rain was one of my earliest BD titles when I adopted the format in 2010.
Neither movie is a work of art, but both are visually attractive and since Prince's popularity skyrocketed in the aftermath of his untimely passing, makes me wonder if there's a tiny shot these two will ever hit the light of day, perhaps in a double feature pack because for the most part the same people will want both movies. People are clamoring for a remastered Purple Rain, which would be nice, but don't forget the other two movies he did under the WB canon (not sure who owns Sign O' The Times which is out on import) |
