Has anybody ordered from BhavaniDVD?

Has anyone ordered from them? How is there service? Is there a surety one would get the order?

Am facing some concerns with them. Placed an order about 10 days back, they haven't shipped it yet. Regular communication is a challenge. There are about 22 blu rays ordered to make the matter more concerning. My card has been charged on the date of transaction itself.

If reps from Bhavani are reading this, I have no option left but to post it here. I am still giving you a benefit of doubt assuming that as per your commitment you might have shipped the order. But at least, for god's sake, communicate. You can't treat your customers like this.

I havent ordered recently but generally they are very fast in shipping. response to emails is spotty

I got BAD memory for Bhavani DVD.
Since an accident had occurred, I've never order that store.

Would it be possible for you to share what happened? Is there a way out to get them respond? Can I involve my credit card company as my card has been charged and apparently no progress has been made so far. They said Indian order was not verified. This was when I started following up repeatedly after 5-6 days. Then I sent my scan copy of card proving that am the owner of card. Afterwards they said I need to pay through paypal. I told them my card got charged on the same day I placed the order and forwarded them the transaction proof. After that they asked me to bear with them since it is my first transaction with them and assured to ship asap. Now since last 2 days, no update has been there from there end.

Am getting highly concerned. Can somebody help me out? I would really appreciate.

It might be little bit different case for me.

I sent request E-mail the company customer service, but they've never responded.
So I tried to refund what I paid, report it to my card company, finally my credit card company won the suit.
That's it.

Why so hard...
As for me a store provide Paypal service, I usually use Paypal than credit card.
Because I think using Paypal is safer. (except Induna, they aren't available)

Moreover, the store make burdens its customer is failure store.
How many things we customer have to make?

Raj from bhavani is super busy guy. Don't worry you will get your shipment. Did you do pre order?? generally pre orders take time depending on how many orders he has and the quantity in stock. I had the same issue with veera and couple of pre orders i placed.

If your order has any hindi/Non Bhavani titles then its takes time!! Nothing to worry!!!

I ordered 6 blu-ray titles, and received them within 7 days. However, one of the case was damaged and I tried to contact them, that was a nightmare. I finally give up. Their titles and shipping are much cheaper than any other sites I have seen.

I've ordered from them a few times, most recently a couple of weeks ago. My order wasn't shipped until a few days after I ordered it, when I inquired about my order. I guess it is a pretty small operation, but I've always gotten my orders, and they have a good selection with good prices.

I use them a lot, Raj is a very decent guy. I have heard about the same issues with credit card orders, so I always use Paypal.

I have bought close to 40 blu-ray's from Bhavani without any issues. (used paypal for making payment). There has been few occasions that I was not able to get in touch right away (with Raj - who seems to be only person handling online orders and mailing (AFAIK)) but overall it was a great experience shopping.

These issues (something similar) did happen to me when a part of the order is pre-order (or not released or not in stock - when I was trying to order a mix of Telugu and hindi Blu-Rays) and in order to save money on shipping I had asked for the order to be shipped (to an US address) together.

This is a good site with competitive pricing on the disks as well as shipping. Hope it is a minor abberation and you will get your stuff that you paid in time (or will be communicated about it). There is no excuse for not communicating even after a few days of bringing it to the notice of the supplier.

I would say that bhavanidvd and movie time video are the two best online Indian video stores in USA.

Agreed. Those are my go-to sites, especially for SI films.

So far no communication, no blu rays received from Bhavani/Raj. Requested him at least if he can confirm whether the blurays have been shipped and provide the tracking number. Let's see.

Yesterday Raj emailed from another email id and changed the status from pending to shipped. Repeated requests of providing the tracking number is falling on deaf ears though. Mailed him again to at least provide the tracking number and give estimated date of arrival.

Dumb question- why not just order from njmtv? They appear to have all movies in stock and moreover seem to focus on what's really important - customer service!! From the comments here it appears Bhavani is a pain to deal with.
