Yamaha - TRS7790 Coscto Warranty Amazing

Hello,

for anyone that may be interested, I drove in to the Simi Valley, CA Costco and bought the Yamaha TRS-7790BL, which is the clone of the national version RX-V779 that runs about $800.00. Cost is $489.99 amazingly. Warranty, even more amazing.

As I previously thought, the warranty doesn't fall into the normal 2 year warranty where you also have the choice of getting extended warranty. The receiver fall into the liberal regular warranty where it can be 2, 3, 4 or 5 year warranty, Satisfaction Guaranteed. I confirmed this in the store. The electronics warranty on the Costco online reads as follows:

On Merchandise: We guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell, and will refund your purchase price, with the following exceptions:

Electronics: Costco will accept returns within 90 days from the date of purchase for Televisions and Projectors, Computers, Touchscreen Tablets, Cameras, Camcorders, MP3 players and Cellular Phones.

My receipt for my 55" Samsung TV that I also bought at Costco does have the 2 year warranty printed on it as well as the extension I purchased. The reciept for the receiver I just omits the 2 year warranty wording or any other kind of wording related to a warranty. In fact, notice that above under the electronics exception, a receiver is not mentioned.
