Unfortunately, it looks like they are not doing SBS again this year. Well, they are (they're promoting it on their website), but as far as I can tell, they're not offering the free money this year (before it was $10 credit per transaction at a small business, up to 3 times per account last year, IIRC). Well, if there's no free money involved, I don't see what the point of promoting SBS is anymore. There's no particular incentive to go to a small business that particular day (vs. any other day of the year).
OK, it looks like they are still doing a SBS credit promo again this year, but it seems like it is a targeted promo only for select members (I have no idea what the criteria are for inclusion). So, if you are eligible, you will see an offer in your account for this. If you aren't, then you won't. It looks like basketb reported getting the offer, and one of my family members also said he got one, so this one looks like it only for some members this years, whereas in past years it was for any member.

Where do I find the AMEX Offers?
[Show spoiler]You have to have an AMEX card/account. If you do, log in to your account online. On the bottom of the home page they have a section called "Amex Offers & Benefits." In that section they list offers currently available for using your AMEX card at various vendors.

When are Offers available/When do new Offers get added?
[Show spoiler]Offers are available year round, but each individual offer has a limited duration and specified expiration dates. New offers from various vendors are added throughout the year, but a lot show up around the holidays and some seem to return every holiday season in some form (for example, there are usually offers from Amazon, BB, and TRU around this time every year). It's useful to keep checking for new offers throughout the year as there are some good ones during other times of the year as well.
What do I have to do to use/get my offer? VERY IMPORTANT:
[Show spoiler]You have to actually "add" the individual offers to your card in order to be eligible for them. If you are eligible for the offer (it shows up in your list of offers) but you don't actually "add" it to your card (just click the button "Add to Card") you are not technically "enrolled" in the offer and you will not get the credit.
In that way, it's like the Target Cartwheel discount. You don't actually automatically get the discount just because you bought the item or even because you scanned your CW barcode. You have to have added the Cartwheel offer to your Cartwheel account first before you try to redeem it. AMEX Offers works in a similar way, you have to add the offers you want to your card before you can redeem them.
Why can't I see the Offer in my account?
[Show spoiler]It seems that not everyone gets the same offers. I'm not sure how eligibility for certain offers is determined (for example, my wife sometimes gets offers that I don't), but you are only eligible for an offer if it shows up in your list of "Amex Offers & Benefits" at the bottom of your account page. If the Offer is not in the list, you're not eligible.
When do the credits show up in my account?

I spoke to a couple reps at AMEX about SBS. They didn't seem to know too much about it, but after asking around a bit they both seemed to confirm that they're not doing the $10 credit for SBS again this year, or if they are, it will be limited to targeted members. One rep said that the offer would be by invitation only to select members, so you would only beeligible for the $10 credit offer.
Has anyone here gotten such an email/invitation for the $10 credit on Small Business Saturday on 11/28?
Just curious if the rep was giving me correct info or not. I know we haven't received any such invitations yet.

Yes, so it looks like there is a SBS offer again this year too, but this year it seems only limited to select targeted members. Looks like basketb got it and someone in my family also told me he got it. So this year it looks like it's another one of those account specific types.
