Lightbulb Will NetFlix launch in India kill BluRay Eventually?

Hi All,

Netflix has gone live in India as of today!

ADVANTAGES: Netflix quality control is good. More and more bollywood movies can make from 1980s, 1970s, 1960s, 1950s decades and B & W era movies currently being digitally restored, remastered will make it to Full HD online.

DISADVANTAGE: Bollywood movies becoming available in Full HD in BRD quality means customers will not buy BRD even if they available. Rs 500/month for Netflix means waiting long enough and most latest major bollywood releases will be availble in Full HD soon.

What do you guys think?

What could happen to BRD media when Netflix strikes a deal with Eagle, Shemaroo, T-series, Reliance, YRF etc etc at some point and start offering feature films in 4k, UHD with Dolby Atmos in a year from now?
