Default Netflix cracking down on global VPN users

I don't have a Netflix account although I was considering to get one if I could get high speed internet.

I know that using vpn's for Netflix in other countries is illegal because it is against their ToS. It probably was expected that Netflix was to curb down people using Netflix in other countries if they didn't reside in them over a sustained period of time.

For the record; I don't have a clue to set up a VPN or how to use one. I will only have regular Netflix from Ireland if I had set one up and that would be it.

This type of behavior of using vpn's has a certain element of greed attached to it and inveitably going to come back to bite people in their behinds because for this current time Netflix is saying that it is wrong to quickly expand your usage beyond your current needs even though you had to be patient to get their content from the Netflix service from were they live.

Are you disappointed that Netflix is eventually going to crack down on people after using it this way for such a long period of time?

Are you glad this behavior will be stopped indefinitely from the executives who run the company even though that is only, for now, a temporary measure?

Also how long would think this Netflix restriction will last with their customers?

Would you think that this is a minor issue and much bigger catalog selections are expected from them in the short to medium term?
