Thumbs up Harry Potter: The Premium Collection (2011)

I'm looking at buying this (https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Harry...Blu-ray/30903/) boxset as it contains only the blu-ray releases of the films and no 3D versions.

Can anyone who owns this set confirm that the discs for HP1 & HP2 contain both versions of the film, theatrical and extended.

8 films, 11 BDs.

That means

Movies 1 - 5: 1 BD each
Movies 6 - 8: 2 BDs each

This doesn't include the extended versions of 1 and 2.

Why'd you start a new thread, then?

At any rate, it looks like that set simply has the individual BD releases in fancy packaging. You have to get either the Wizard's Collection or the Hogwarts Collection to get the extended versions of Movies 1 and 2.

Thanks very much, just what I needed to know

If you have time can I ask you to take a look at the AQ specs? Are they the same as listed on this site or do they contain the DTS-HD MA tracks?

I'm away from home at the moment Ben and will be for sometime to come but even then I wouldn't know how to find the AQ specs anyway. That's over and above my head.

Thread Resurrection! legit purpose though

Is this 'Premium' set the only way to get all the special features for the HP series.. instead of buying the 'Hogwarts Collection'?

I've seen the 10 disc box set being sold around the place, but I just assume it's missing heaps of special features?

The individual theatrical and extended Ultimate Editions of 1 and 2 are still available to purchase in Australia from a few online retailers (Big W/Movies and Games Plus, Fishpond and Ezydvd), 2 of them at least ship to NZ. I bought them several months ago.
