Default China’s Wanda Acquires Legendary Entertainment for $3.5 Billion.

China’s property and entertainment giant Dalian Wanda has formally announced its acquisition of leading Hollywood production company, Legendary Entertainment.

The blockbuster deal is worth $3.5 billion, could this breathe life back in Pacific Rim 2????

It's the only thing that can breath life back in to Pacific Rim 2 or Hellboy III.

Universal's distribution deal is up in 2018, which won't get renewed. (They'd like to kill it now if they could... That's why they let them shop King Kong: Skull Island to WB.) And Warner will probably only work with Legendary with what's already in the pipeline.

Wanda's going to have to eventually take over distribution for Legendary.

Nolan is going to be a rich man.

Isn't Legendary partly own by him?
