I'm aware of at least four posters who have had their usernames changed within the past six months. Two of them have been given completely new accounts, so their posting history is effectively erased for anyone unaware of their old name.
With that in mind, I am proposing that the admins consider implementing a new rule that states that any poster who has had their username changed (or at least those who are using brand new accounts) be required to include a notation - either in their signature or their location - stating what their original username was. |
