I got a Blu-ray from Amazon recently, "Everyone must Burn". When I got it, I noticed it was a BDR, but I'm sure I've played them before in my Orei BDP-M2 Region Free player. Not this one. It did nothing. It tried to load a couple of times, as I heard the sound that makes, but nothing ever came on the screen, my Blu-ray menu screen never changed, nothing. It was like I hadn't even put a disc in the player.
Then I got a Blu-ray from Allied Vaughn studios called "Lunamancer". This I almost expected to be a BDR, because, on Amazon, the case has that large lettering of BLU-RAY DISC on the top of the case. I have several of those that also play fine, but not this one. As in the case above, nothing happened, except that it tried to load a couple of times. Now I'm nervous about buying anymore of those types of Blu-rays from them. Any advice, ideas, or information would be very welcome. Thanks ![]() |
