They're listed on the back sleeve as follows:

Making Of (including out-takes, behind the scenes and deleted scene)
Promotional Video
Edinburgh Sizzle
Life's Too Short - Make-up
Life's Too Short - The Fight
Warwick Asks for a Job
Warwick the Agent

It's been a while since I watched them but my main recollection is that they were very short, and padded out far too much with exactly the same episode clips every time. However I seem to remember they WERE HD and compared to the extra's you usually get with BBC Blu-ray series like this "above average".

Really? Because I bought it from Amazon UK and a message pops up saying that it will only play on Region B players.

The recent special is getting a BR release it would seem

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lifes-Too-Sh...+short+blu+ray

Thought it was pretty poor though.

If they're sensible they'll wait until Christmas when gullible people might buy it for friends.

Enjoyed the series but thought the "special" was really poor

The special was just different - they made some changes, mostly to Warwick, that seemed a little like retrospective 'fixes' (as if, given the chance to do the series over again, they might not have made him quite so unlikeable).

wait, so the blu is strictly the first run of episodes, not ALL episodes?

The BBC broadcast 6x30 minute episodes as a first season. This is included on the blu-ray.

Earlier this year, they also broadcast a 60 minute special to wrap the series up. This is not included on the blu-ray.

Thanks for clarification, but thats a frickin jip. ALL episodes should be included, as technically the 'special' is part of series 1

urgh, greedy BBC. They did the same with Mrs Browns Boys

No it isn't. The special was a follow up designed to replace Series 2.

This isn't/wasn't released by the BBC, it was released by Universal.

Yes, it was aired by the BBC, but released by Universal. The BBC can't force producers to use BBC Worldwide to distribute their shows.

The blu-ray was released before the special had even been announced, in fact I think the blu-ray was released when BBC Two still wanted a second series. (It was later revised to just a special)

Anyone know if the special was ever released on blu-ray? I know it had a DVD release. Amazon has a page for a blu-ray but always says ‘working on getting it back in stock’.
