TV Land's "Teachers"

Network executives are really scraping the bottom of the barrel. While the premise of the series sounded good, the pilot episode was 30 minutes of my life I will never get back. Everything from crude sex jokes, teachers bullying students, teachers obsessed with their clothes to getting laid from a stranger.

There wasn't a single scene in this episode that prompted a smile or a laugh. It was bad writing, bad directing and TV Land should scrap this series and come up with a better concept.

Was this a remake of the British Teachers?

I don't know. But, I actually enjoyed some of TV Land's other shows but "Teachers"? This was some of the worst television programming that I have ever been forced to subject myself to. Whatever executive saw this episode and greenlit the episode for broadcast should be fired. I simply found nothing of value in this episode. Even the jokes were crude and unfunny.

No, the remake of that was this show was Teachers that aired on NBC in 2006.

This is just another show with the same title.
