Help Identifying a Movie Based on A Scene

I'm seeing a scene from a movie in my head and I'm trying so hard to identify it. I think its an American movie, but the scene I have is this:

A man is on a hotel balcony video chatting with his girlfriend. It becomes clear based on someone coming out of the room from the balcony that he has slept with a woman, though I think he actually slept with two women while a male friend of his was also there. The woman on the video chat is freaking out. And then, I feel but it may not be the case, that the man ends up killing someone in the room, but I'm not fully sure. This is the only fragment that I have in my head, but I can't for the life of me identify what it would be from. . .
