My Walmart only has 4 Blu-ray movies hanging off the side of a shelf. I'm thoroughly disappointed in this so thats why I'll shop at Amazon or Best Buy.

The Wal Mart here has a half-dozen four-sided center aisle displays of SD DVDs, several SD DVD end caps in a main aisle, two aisles of CDs, two aisles of video games, and a single end cap facing the back wall of the store which contains both HD DVD & Blu-ray (about 60/40 BR). They had a nice Blu-ray center aisle display on Black Friday but it was gone the following week.

Sad as the Wal Mart here is it's way better than it was this fall when they had like 4 Blu-ray titles and 3 HD DVD titles all of which were locked in the glass case where they keep the PS3 games.

That's dumb, because they're missing out on my purchases. Like someone already said, I will take my business to Best Buy, Amazon or Target.

Right there with you. I'd never set foot in Wal Mart if it weren't for the massive blocks of $5 DVDs they regularly stock.

The only time I go to Walmart is to:
1) Check if they increased their Blu-ray stock
2) Buy razors, shaving cream, toilet paper and other toiletries

Just got back from WalMart with Goblet of Fire on Blu Ray.

They had all the Harry Potters and all but the newest film were $18.xx.

asda will have the Bd shelf back in the new year, they are going for christmas glory with stuff they think people will buy, hidef is too niche at the moment. Does your asda but day/date BDs next to the films? Like Pirates and Die hard? mine does...no transformers though, lmfao

This is correct. Blu-ray will be back at Asda Wal-Mart in January, with a bigger selction. They still may have selected titles in the back storeroom if you ask, but they won't have many until the new selection comes in Jan 08.
