So, I've seen a few films of late which have been a let down in one area or another - usually because it's outside of a director's apparent comfort zone. We all know some directors are wildly better at some material than others. Let's face it, I can't see Spider-Man 3 being directed by Woody Allen.
We all know of certain well-established directing line-ups, often siblings. But I think we could get some great films if we took people and got them to do "tag-team" directing. What would your ideal tag team be? I'd love to see a Kenneth Branagh and Michael Bay tag team. Any time someone's talking, it's Branagh. They start shouting or shit starts to explode, in comes bay. A Marvel movie, maybe a Bond movie would be interesting. |

But generally on the subject of directing duos, I am surprised to have never seen a duo of spouses or similar. |
