Ugh, I just bought Black Swan and Silence of the Lambs recently, and already have Aliens with the original slip. Maybe I'll get 127 Hours and/or Juno down the road.

The selection here is weird, especially since some of these never even won an Oscar. Why would they use Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and not Dances With Wolves, which they've pimped out ad nauseum over the years...

I recently bought Cast Away and Silence of the Lambs.

I still might get In the Heat of the Night, and damn I get like every version of Black Swan, I just love that movie.

Man, I really admire Fox's business model (not sarcasm). Mass produce and rerelease your headline titles over and over again with a cheap slipcover. The people buying them are happy and they get tons of money. Plus when the market gets flooded with so many slightly different versions of the same movie it makes them cheap for anyone to afford.

Very Very true, it gets me sometimes with certain movies. Though I mainly try to get the release with the most content.

I wouldn't want incorrect versions. They may be considered novelty items but I'm not sure it is desirable.
