Terrahawks-complete first series-network releasing

hi all
the first season is due out in 3 days,
i havent seen a thread so i thought i would start one.

my copy arrived from network today so heres a quick review

i have only had a quick look at the 2 disc set but in that hour ive had a look at several episodes and some of the extras..

the set is in a slim blu ray case and has info about the extras and episodes on the inside of the sleeve.
the series was shot in 16mm according to the sleeve notes but itv's archives only have the 16mm prints to 35 of 39 episodes.
on 2 of the episodes from this set only sd quality transfers are available these 2 episodes look poor compared to the other 11 episodes.

as for the other episodes they look good and what ive seen are quite watchable but the show is never going to look stunning but for fans of the show they wont care,this is a big step up from the old dvds.

the extras are plentiful and varied and includes the first episode of the spin off animated series and a big finish audio adventure,also included are several featurettes about the show and the extended vhs version of the 2 part opening story.

As a long time fan i am impressed with this first volume and am looking forward to season 2.
i pre-bought this direct from network at only £12.24.
