Default Your 3 Favorite "Best Buy Blus"...

Perhaps this belongs in the "Stores Threads" but it's not really about a good deal or a sale price or anything along those lines.

Simply put, what are your three favorite blus that were purchased as a "Best Buy Exclusive" or a "Best Buy Edition"?

These are my three Best Buy favorites to date...

JAWS (DIGIBOOK) 1975 2.39:1 DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 $99.99
ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE (STEELBOOK)1969 2.35:1 DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 $17
ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST 1968 2.35:1 DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 $19.99

Just thought others might have some Best Buy exclusives in their collection. I didn't think it was too radical of a question...

The Jaws digibook isn't a Best Buy exclusive.

I didn't think it was at first either but it is listed as such on this site (under the "Other Editions" part of the "normal" digibook).

And the Digibook Master Thread lists it as such...

I think this may be the only BB-exclusive I own. Snagged it at BB during BF (the infamous $9.99 deal) a few years ago ...

Looks nice! Believe it or not, I've never even seen Ben-Hur!

Yikes !

You owe it to yourself to see it, and the Collector's Edition ranks right up there with the Lawrence of Arabia Limited Edition.

Yeah, I'll have to give it a watch one of these days.

I think the point is, you're coming off as something of an attention "lady of the night" (so to speak) with all of the threads you've started lately.

Exhibit A...

My apologies if that's how it comes off. Didn't mean no harm. I figured if you can't post blu ray threads in a blu ray forum, where can you post them?

I always try to be polite and respectful in all my posts here. Again, I'm sorry if I did something wrong...

+1, this one must have been released in 100+ Countries.

On her majesty's secret service steelbook was also release in Canada, UK, Germany and Japan, how exclusive is that?
This thread is pointless.

Boy, this is a hard forum to please! I'm sorry I'm causing so much angst, and apparent confusion, with this thread.

I already provided the link that lists Jaws as TWO separate Digibook entries. And the page here for "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" mentions Best Buy right on it!

It was just an innocent topic-starter. Again, I didn't mean any harm...

It's actually the only Best Buy exclusive I've ever bought, at least for Blu-rays. A couple others were DVDs.

Don't know what makes it different. As for the OP, I would say the Anchorman Rich Mahogany Set and the Mission Impossible Quadrilogy but those are no longer BB exclusives.

I don't think there is much difference content-wise but it's noted that there is a different SKU number on them and they have different release dates (and page listings). And I did get mine at Best Buy (and the other one online).

I guess as a digibook lover it's just one of those technicalities that makes collecting them fun. Even if we're just essentially buying the same release twice...

Confirming the Jaws Digibook was a Best Buy Exclusive when it was first released in US. I purchased it and later sold it for a nice profit although I wish I'd kept it. It went to wide release in the US later I believe.
