Pirates 3 HELP!!

Hi Guys, was so excited last night got pirates 3 (in australia) 3 days before release day. Anyways got to chapter 26, the 3rd from the end and the movie froze! no buttons on the remote would work and i had to pull the power from the player to restart it.

Oh should say i run a pioneer BDP-LX70

Anyways put the disc back in and went to scene select to start it at chapter 25 to see if it happened again and the same thing happened at the screen select menu. This time it let me eject the disc and the screen went to the normal pioneer background.

Anyways when i put the disc back in the frozen scene select screen came up again and in the right hand top corner the movie started in a little square where it usual shows the scene picture. (i hope this makes sense!).

So i put on another movie and it worked perfect. Put pirates3 back in and all the menus and movie worked fine all the way to the end.

Can any one explain this to me?

Any help would be fantastic!

I have watched about 40 bd movies that i own on this player and never had a glitch until now so it seems rather weird.
