I guess this is where we find out who likes the longer movies and who likes the short ones (on average).
The average running time of my collection is 114 minutes. Without knowing the average runtime of every film ever made, I have no way to know if that's above average or below average. On one end of the spectrum are the epic films I own such as Gone With The Wind, JFK, Doctor Zhivago and the Kubrick films. Yet these are likely balanced out with the typically short Friday The 13th films and other "in and out" movies like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (83 minutes). All in all, I would guess 114 minutes is slightly on the long side, but I don't know... |
