Default New Massive Attack video staring Rosamund Pike (Phantasm meets Possession 1981)

A little on the NSFW side but damn, it's awesome.

Stupid. If it weren't for CG most of these hacks couldn't make anything.

Because CG is a tool any Tom, Dick or Harry can pick up.

Music video is alright, nothing special, but I liked the song, good to hear a new Massive Attack song.

I don't know anything about the band, and I can't say that's my new favorite song or anything. I watched it on YouTube because Rosamund Pike and the Phantasm-like sphere caught my attention.

You vehement anti-CGI people crack me up sometimes. What would you prefer, a ball on a string? LOL

Strange that you don't know nothing about MASSIVE ATTACK it's better than EDM where everything sounds the same. Just start with Blue Lines.

He does'nt own a smartphone only a can and a string

Huge fan of Massive attack, the recent E.P to me is a return to form, to the sound I loved in my youth. after 100th window and Heligoland, I'd wondered if that was my lot with the band.

the video ft Tricky stars actor John Hawkes.

Yeah I imagine it is an intentional reference to Possession?

Yeah. Rosamund's dress and movements are quite similar to Isabelle Adjani's character in that film.

I actually found it while skimming a forum the other day. Suffice it to say, I found it to be a very pleasant surprise in the morning.

I've never heard of Massive Attack in my life, and after listening to that song, I'm not surprised.

I made it through 3 minutes before turning it off. I probably would've turned it off sooner had it not been for Rosamund. Just not my type of music.

Weird, creepy...yep, I like the video.

The song's a little flat for my tastes, but I'm still looking forward to hearing more new stuff from them.

Don't let that one song put you off, the band has made some phenomenal work before. Chances are you may have heard them before on TV and movies and never knew it. Check out their classic songs like "Teardrop," "Angel," "Unfinished Sympathy," "Safe From Harm," etc before writing them off. You might be pleasantly surprised.
