I voted that I have a PS3 already.
However if the first two options didn't apply, I'd be purple.

I really don't remember, it was either selection of titles, or because I decided Blu was most likely to win. Maybe both.

I was ignorant of either format before I bought my PS3, but now knowing both formats, I am glad Sony implimented blu-ray into their system.

+1

Although I don’t know that I’d say I hate HD DVD. It’s existence is sort of irrelevant to me.

Because I like blue.

Oh yeah because it will not be dated after a few years. Larger studio support, better technology, large space and anything else I forgot.

I have purchased many products from Sony and I have always been very satisfied with them. They're reliable and since Sony supports blu-ray, I know I can't go wrong.

that's a hard one. there are so many reasons. superior technology, studio support, capabilities of players (ps3) such as wireless internet (i don't want to run ethernet all over my house. there's to many to list.

why oh why. I guess are a myriad of reasons why I went blu. I chose blu because conveniently ps3 supports it. Blu is superior in pq and especially aq. Studio support, I could go on. But Thank god I won't.

DITTO! Believe it or not, the fact that Sony was behind it was a huge factor for me. I have been backing Sony for quite some time now, but not quite so far as ... betamax When I saw the additional hard-hitter manufacture support, that pretty much sealed it for me (I said to myself, Sony is finally doing it right, meaning not going it alone). Another die-hard point was when Sony of all companies came to the LCD/PLASMA party late, by not placing competitively priced products on the market in time to be truly competitive. They have come a long way from that now!
