I'm trying to find films that feature extensive scenes or are set around the carnival days:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carnival#Etymology I tried imdb keywords (and generally the net), but the films it comes up with are films with circus etc. which is not what I'm after. I know mostly of Rio and Venice Carnivals that are famous in the world. So, are there any films (i'm interested only in films up to 2000) with such content? A couple I have found: Black Orpheus (1959) Nudo di Donna (1984) Also I think Wild Orchid had some carnival scenes? It would be great also if there were any period films (maybe early 20th century, or renaissance/middle ages) with Italian carnival.. |
