Default International Standard Shipping?

Hi all,

I recently bought some Blu-Rays from an Ebay user in Asia, which I've been waiting 9 weeks for it to ship to Ireland and still no luck.

I know there's been a thread on this before but I was wondering what are people's experiences with International Standard Shipping. I've read it can take 10 weeks to ship sometimes because the method is notoriously slow.

The seller I bought from also had 100% positive feedback when I purchased the item, now it's 97.7%. If my item doesn't arrive in the next few weeks is there any way I can report my case to Ebay?

Regards,
Michael

It's not coming from China but it's kind of close.

The seller also said tracking fees were too high for him, so I can't do that.

I've noticed on my Paypal confirmation for my address everything is listed other than my town name (estate name, house number, county, country, and post code are all there). Is it possible my item could have been delivered to the general post office in Dublin and they weren't sure where to ship to? Should I call them with my proof of purchase?

Any other tips?

10 weeks seems a bit excessive for a package to arrive. How was it shipped? I've had items arrive across the Pacific from Australia, Japan, or China within 3 days to 2 weeks. With PayPal you have 180 days to start the dispute process from date of purchase.

I will ask the seller how it was shipped now.

That's good, it's been 61 days since I made payment, and it was done through Paypal. Hopefully they can help if I can't solve it with the seller.

Default Help needed urgently

OK, I really need help now.

The seller isn't responding to my messages and he/she has removed the item I bought from their listings so I can't ask Ebay for help with getting my money back.

Also having trouble logging in to my Paypal because it doesn't recognize my email for some reason.

Any advice?

give paypal a call they can help reset ur account login info if u need. then ask them to help u start a dispute. if its been more then 60 days chances are its probly lost. being that the seller shipped with no tracking they have no proof of delivery so paypal will side with u.

OK, thanks for the response.

I've managed to reset my Paypal password. I'm trying to start a dispute online but it can only show transaction IDs from this month and last (I ordered from the seller in question in January).

If I give them a call could they help me further?

OK,

I filed a dispute and it was escalated to a claim 11 days ago but I haven't been refunded yet. Is this normal?
