Glad to see I'm not the only one who feels this way. It is the closest we've gotten to Batman. Everything else has been elements of him (Outside of the Animated Series). Was fortunate to meet Adam and Burt.

Based on my last rewatch, I actually rank Batman Forever below Batman & Robin. The latter kinda works as a campy homage to the Adam West era. The former is painful to sit through, with Tommy Lee Jones in particular being the proverbial nails on chalkboard. They could switch around, though.
