Default Will UHD Blu-ray look good on a Sony XBR55X850C?

I recently bought a Samsung UBD-K8500 UHD Blu-ray player, and was planning on getting a 4K HDR TV to match. Given my price range, would the Sony XBR55X850C be a good option? I'm not necessarily looking for the best thing currently available on the market, basically I just want to know if UHD Blu-rays will look good on it, because I've been kinda confused reading about HDR compatibility.

I currently have a non-HDR compatible 1080p TV and wow does UHD Blu-ray look weird on it (no doubt because the TV doesn't support HDR), and essentially I'm just trying to avoid that. I'm looking for something in my price range that will play UHD Blu-rays well and the XBR55X850C seems like a good option to me, but I want to make sure.
