The German versions are heavily censored. And coming from such a low budget label they will most probably be upscales. Avoid.

I couldn't imagine censoring them when they played with gore intact on the Sci-Fi channel here.

Different country different laws. Not sure what the deal was, meaning if the German distributor censored the movies on their own before submitting the movies to the German censor board FSK, or if the FSK actually had issues indeed with some of the violence and suggested cuts. We will never know.
