Doesn't appear as if there are digital or BD releases for either of those two (domestic or foreign).

Amazon Prime used to carry 2009, but it seems like it's been out of circuit for some time.

I don't see my favorite Korean film, I Saw the Devil, from 2010, directed by Kim Jee-woon and starring Lee Byung-hun and Choi Min-sik. I own the blu and streaming copy on Amazon Prime, but would be very happy to upgrade to 4K should that happen. Thanks for compiling this list. There are some here I haven't heard of and want to check out

So the question is: what range of films should this thread encompass?

It's pretty self-explanatory when films are produced in South Korea and feature a Korean cast, but what about co-productions?

There are films like "Dangerous Liaisons," a Chinese production directed by Hur Jin-ho and featuring Jang Dong-gun. Films like "The Last Stand" and "Stoker," directed by Kim Jee-woon and Park Chan-wook respectively, but featuring predominantly American casts. Then we have films like the 2021 Thai film "The Medium," which was written by Na Hong-jin and is described as "a Korean film exclusively in Thai." And the list goes on... .

For the 'Currently Unavailable' list I guess you could add

A Bittersweet Life (2005) dir Jee-woon Kim
I'm a Cyborg (but that's ok) (2006) dir Park Chan-wook

Both released on bluray as well as DVD somewhere at some point

Looks like Oldboy is listed above as unavailable as well as in 4K

And I've got The Handmaiden HD, including the extended 168 min version as an extra, on UK itunes
In the US it's available for rent but not buy on Vudu, and free to watch with ads on Prime.

Sorry if I've missed anything, a bit hard to search as it's thumbnails only, ideally need a text list or a spreadsheet, etc

Nos 1 and 3 in Park Chan-wook's Vengeance Trilogy (no 2 was Oldboy)

Sympathy for Mr Vengeance (2002) (there's a SD copy free to watch with ads on Vudu)
Lady Vengeance (2005)

Both have been released on physical 4K discs somewhere at some point

Thanks for the information.

I'll be working on a text version at some point once the list is finalized.

The reason why I have Oldboy listed twice is because the original HD version by Palisades Tartan is no longer available for purchase, but the new 4K one by NEON/Decal is. I'm not even sure if I'll keep the "Unavailable" category. I initially included it to account for all of the dead iTunes links on this website (that I could find).
