Default My Samsung Player now won't stream, was working perfectly the other day.

This is quite strange, a Samsung player that I have that's not even that old, less than a year, all of a sudden will not stream movies, it does not recognize any connection to the Internet.
Strange as it was working perfectly the other day.

Is it possible that the player could have caught a virus from one of the Blu-ray discs that I was playing? (a Universal title BTW), I don't think this is possible, but you never know these days.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like the WiFi chip/board in the player might have gone south ...

I don't know how that is possible, as I take really good care of my technology items.
But anything is possible...

It's literally impossible. The BD discs can't record data, as they're ROMs. Any harmful data would have to be pressed into the discs during authoring (and we would all know about it by now).

Is your connection wired or wireless? if it's wireless do a settings restore and see if it picks any other Wi-Fi signals. Re-install the App if you can, try the other Apps as well. If it's wired, check the cable and if you can try the player at someone else's house connection.

But there's every chance the board is knackered, it happens sometimes.
