Default What are the director's preferences??

Well I know Michael Bay is a blu supporter. And apparently so is Spielberg. So have any other directors spoken on the record about their format choice? Either blu or hd-dvd.

Also, I know Spielberg has the power to hold his films back. But, do you think any other directors are using their influence to push a studio (ie-Warner, Universal and Paramount)?

Sam Raimi. But of course Sony writes his checks so I wouldn't expect anything differently.

Hmm...like weekly software sales. A lopsided win for Blu-Ray

I think that was Brad Bird from Ratatouille and The Incredibles.

They have a guy the public hasn't ever heard of. We have 5 sure fire blockbuster directors. In all fairness, the list could stop with Spielberg.

Plus we know for a fact that Michael Imperioli is being paid to support HD-DVD since I doubt he does those commercials for free.

Michael Imperioli doesn't direct. He is a just a paid actor saying his lines. Hell most people don't even know who the hell he is let alone care what he has to say.

What's really ironic about it is that The Sopranos Season Six is on Blu-Ray and HD-DUD, but Blu-Ray is the only one with lossless audio.

How can you say that about Spider? DANCE THAT DRINK BACK TO ME! DANCE! <Joe Pesci shoots him in the foot.>

I think he may have directed or co-directed an episode or two of the Sopranos.
