Go to the relevant manufacturer webiste of the player. Click support, find your player, then the update it needs.

ok I just tested that set on my PC, PowerDVd 14 ultra gives me the same as you posted

Corel® WinDVD® Pro 11 also gives message about requiring an update to which one is not available.

but all load and play with out an issue on my Sony BDP-S550 player.

I guessing we need to raise it issue with cyber-link support

Default Not Apes but problem playing

I switched on the wireless connection I have for my Sky HD box that enables me to download programmes I have missed.
I then put my copy of Great Gatsby into the Blu Ray player.
After 5 minutes of nothing, I decided to be really patient, a green flashing light appeared telling me network connection activating.
Another minute and a series of promos for other WB movies began.
Unable to fast forward through them, disc would not allow it, I waited until they finished when finally the top page for the Gatsby movie appeared.
I've never known anything like it!
Has anyone else seen this kind of thing before? And what was going on?

Tried vlc but it does not work don't do anything.
I tried putting the files in the folders to.
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'bluray:///E:/'. Check the log for details.

If you are talking about watching the movie on BD ? then this can occur on some disks as the studio has coded it so that if it finds your BD player has a live internet connection to connect to the studios players and play some trailers. Have seen it on Universal disks in the past.

Was one of the original design features with BD as it meant that studios could ensure you see current relevant trailers not what they coded on a disk possibly years before.

This can cause problems on some players, so just do what I do which is turn off the internet connection on your BD player as its not needed for normal viewing.

I remember being really annoyed when I put in Star Wars and it said PowerDVD wasn't capable of playing it.

Had to wait for a patch to come out which took a week.

I raised the issue with Cyberlink support to see what they had to say on it, if they post a useful response I will post an update
