The Goonies was inspired by lots of things, from Captain Blood to the Hardy Boys and the Mystery of the Applegate Treasure. The Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland was just one of them, like a fantasy where you're on a treasure hunt with your friends and your big brother's friends and all of you find yourself running for your life after getting out of the boat on a theme park ride.

Titans of Cult generally piggyback off of new/existing releases anyway. Just look at their line-up so far. I wouldn't let them be any kind of gauge

Yeah , I know I was bit harsh on this one but the only one I liked among this line was V for Vendetta.

Its funny who gets to choose the art and also the film to be on this line, such a massive waste of resources!

This SB format has been exploited by retailers/other boutique SB labels- look at the number of ugly designed SBs lined up for release and Drive was recently released (OOP on release day haha) on SB for the nth time when 4K is due for release. Not to forget plain yellow paint SBs.
