Default Disappointed with Echo Bridge? Let them know!!

Hey guys, and gals! If you are one of the many who are utterly disappointed with Echo Bridge's handling of the Mirimax titles, let them know! That is one way we can make known that we are buying blu-rays for the superior a/v quality, not to buy the cheapest piece of crap we can find.

Here is a link to their contacts. Scroll to the bottom to find their home entertainment division. Call or send and e-mail (I called both presidents and left voice mails) and let them know!

I hope anyone thinking about writing or calling Echo Bridge is professional about it. No, "Your releases are the suck! Fart faces! lol" kind of crap.

"I've seen Alliance releases with better quality and features than yours!"

Which is hilarious since Echo Bridge OWNS Alliance.

They don't own Alliance. They own international rights to their library.

I believe the "bigger" Miramax titles went to Lionsgate.

Alliance Films Canada, Echo Bridge, VVS Films Canada; they are all inferior and bad for the world peace!

I will email them all and tell them very politely. I'm sure they'll listen to me and will recall all their monstruosities! And they'll give us what we truly deserve; high quality picture transfers and high res audio!

But you guys should all do the same because alone I won't make any dent in their heads!

I hope all the "bigger" Miramax titles went to Lionsgate... I don't want EB handling the original Crow. Mess with the sequel all you want..

I have the JP import of Crow but I'd like to see a NA version eventually

Pretty much it appears they are just doing the minimum to keep costs down and keep pricing low. They are using whatever elements are povided to them and are not going the extra mile. These are pretty much B movies that most likely will not get more than this.

I have it too. I don't see a NA version being any better. It's a great release.

Or they're a half-assed company that not only puts out a terrible product, but they can't be bothered not to have completely unprofessional typos and mistakes on the front and backs on the cases.

I mean honestly I really feel bad for the people that are really interested in all these lower tier Miramax titles--with some exceptions like Equilibrium--because I think everyone knew the day this deal was announced that it most likely wouldn't be good news.
I guess I just figured the millionaires that bought the rights to the catalog would actually care about how echo bridge treated their films on bd.
Obviously, for whatever strange reason, they don't seem to give a crap.
really sad situation unless something turns around.
btw: guess I will keep my Canadian From Dusk Till Dawn, as the echo bridge bd will likely be inferior.

I found the idea of Echo Bridge to be merely getting obscure movies at cheap prices. All of the EB DVDs I have are multi-features of movies that I wouldn't care to buy individual releases of for more money.

It worries me that it's getting rights to big movies now. From Dusk Till Dawn deserves a better release than what EB is gonna put out.
