That was a hilarious scene though! I wasn't sure if I'd like the movie so gave it a rental, but after watching it last night, I need to buy the BD... soon!!!
This was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a while!

Guess that answers my question about whether or not he was really doing the singing in the movie. He did a good job with it.

I hated this movie. But I am not sure if I hated it because it was so bad or if I hated it because I am sick and tired of audio drops with some of these new titles with TrueHD. I am not sure if I should be upset with the Panasonic BD-30 or with the movie itself - but I AM UPSET with the Walk Hard experience. Regardless, I am returning this movie and my plan is to return every movie with audio drops until this BS is fixed.

I didn't have any problems on my PS3. probably your player.

imo it's far and away the best comedy judd apatow has had a hand in. the only one I've considered buying, and the bd release helps that!

I am hoping pineapple express gives it a run for its money though.

This was the biggest surprise in a long time for me. I thought this was a tremendously well-done and very funny story, and I appreciate it even more after watching the special feature disc. A great deal of effort was put forth to create an imaginary living legend, and the songs, though quite ridiculous if you listen to them, are well composed, written and performed.

I am sure that you are correct. I wished I had purchased a PS3 instead of the Panny DB-30. I am continually having one bad experience after another lately with the DTS-HD MA audio pops, the LFE problems, the not registering TrueHD audio to my PRE, etc. As soon as "they" fix one problem it seems two more pop up. I might have to start going to the theater again.

So Walk Hard could have been the best thing since sliced cheese. But the audio problems ruined it for me. And the audio drops ruined my experience with Enchanted as well.

End of rant...I need to go away now and practice some positive Feng Shui.
