lets start off with lionsgate, given recent comments i doubt it, fox, nope they like their security way too much, disney, they are more in love with blu-ray than sony and have had great sales. sony, not a chance, mgm, owned by sony and fox, you decied, so who does that leave, nobody, its a piece of sh1t lie by the dudsters to create some lulz, because blu-ray is getting a lot of it from very credible sources like the NYT, in their stupid minds they think ppl will believe rdjams email is as credible as the NYT.

More of the same BS coming from a bunch of nervous HD DVD fanbois. Like the rdjam rumor, it likely falls under HD DVD FUD damage control as a result of the infinitely more credible Warner articles.

Warner Rumor - Started by Warner themselves with comments about commited to Blu throughout 2008, and evaluating neutral stance, confirmed to be a 'rumor' by a Lionsgate Exec. Both published in the press .

OMGz oh noez blu's need to panic cause we got one of your l33t studioz Rumor - Started by rdjam.

The only studio going neutral anytime soon is Universal.

I think I know what happened here. rdjam got it backwards. My guess is that what was said was an HD DVD exclusive studio is going neutral, and his brain just couldn't process that, so it heard that it was a BDA exclusive studio going neutral. It's OK, we all understand here. The truth is sometimes hard to swallow, so there are those that choose to vomit it up as FUD...

Well, they do rewrite all those Blu positive stories and put HD DVD in all the time, perhaps his tiny brain just automatically switches them now

It must be Starz Home Entertainment then.

OK folks - here I am!

First of all - thanks for all the kind words, Bluray fanbois! I'm sure everyone feels that you are all unbiased and completely unmotivated by your position as Bluray posters...

It takes little to guess that I am enemy number UNO for the Bluray salivists, as I have helped thousands of HD DVD supporters have their voice heard, not to mention "shown up" the incomplete, patchy and problem-plagued Bluray format for what it is!

Next up, the rumour. Well, I got some emails from "Deep Throat" regarding a major BD studio possibly going neutral soon. I won't say which studio, and I won't be more specific until I get additional info to verify the source.

However, it is NOT New Line (as if! - remember, they are already neautral) so folks, write off that suggestion as simply BD fanbois spin.

However, the emails I have received are real, but I just don't know enough about the source or the companies involved.

I certainly won't release the source at any time now or later, as there could be repercussions - but I hope to get something more solid.

The timeline for the announcement is supposedly very short, so you won't have very long at all to wait.

Unless, a studio is being paid a butt load of money. I see no reason to go to a format that is only getting a 1/3 of the market.

Jesus, now people are going to be waiting for this "tragedy" to happen and suddenly warner will go blu and that's all folks.

So because we have a good rumour going around I guess hddud needs to fake one for themselves.

this tard can't even spell blu-ray correctly.

is it just me or does his second post, sound a lot less encouraging that the first. now we are down to, a blu-ray studio might possibly be going neutral. and fyi the only deep throat that is in touch with rdjam is amir. they deep throat each other than post that deep throat told them an insider secret. and if there is one speck of validity to this rumor, you better believe that universal is going neutral or warner is going exclusive. toshiba is probably offering the bank to some studio like lionsgate to go neutral, cause they know once uni and wb make their decision its game over. there is no way in hell the disney, fox, mgm, or sony would go to dh dvd, and i have a hard time believing lionsgate would either, given recent comments out of execs.

Somebody is jerkin his chain. Wouldn't it really be funny if it was someone in one of the BD studios trying to ruin any credibility this guy has. Yeah, the timeline for the announcment is short, and if it doesn't come by the end of the year? What a FUD spreader.

Isn't it great when you can read this story and think:

"There is no way that's true"

as opposed to having to think:

"This better be true or we're screwed"

this is supposed to be in a very short time, so im guessing before xmas, as it would be retarded for hd dvd to pay a ton of money for a studio to announce neutrality after xmas. imho this is a ploy to get a bunch of hd dvd fans who are down in the dumps about CREDIBLE rumors about wb going exclusive, excited again about hd dvd, so sales don't tank and maybe just maybe, hd dvd will see twister on hd dvd, but after that i doubt anything is coming to that format from wb.
