Is Lionsgate doing this one? The Echo Bridge release is probably one of the best ones out of all the Miramax titles.

Wow, that's a long name for a film. Surprised it all fit in the title bar. Anyway, the next in a long and quite impressive wave of Miramax catalog titles from Optimum and Lionsgate (this one is a Lionsgate release), it's out on October 10th and is up for pre-order now.

is it definitely lions gate releasing this? why did echo bridge release this in the us and not lions gate if they are releasing it else where? makes no sense, not that i'm complaining i'd much rather it be lions gate for the uk as this is one of my favourites, almost imported it until i saw this thank god i waited

I just received my copy. This is 1080p23.976, DTS-HD MA 5.1 (48/24), runs exactly 1:34:14 (i.e. 94 minutes) and has the extras from the Echo Bridge release except the music video. The extras are 1080i29.97, so they would be playable everywhere. There are also English SDH subtitles on this release.

It edges a hair into BD-50 territory, at 25,611,933,659 bytes or 23.85 GB (about 0.57 GB more than a full capacity BD-25), has a 21.34 GB feature size with a video bitrate of 28515 kbps (i.e. 28.5 Mpbs).

The disc is, however, Region B LOCKED.

BDInfo scan will be posted after I finish watching the disc.

I don't own the Echo Bridge to compare, but on technical specs alone, the UK BD is the winner.

Thanks for the info. I just picked this up in Amazons 2 for £10 deal. One of my all time funniest parody films.
