Double-checked before starting this thread to see if there was an existing discussion thread for Kino's Blu-ray release from four years ago of late-eighties drama film Positive I.D. (couldn't find an existing thread, so hopefully there is no problem with starting this one):
![]() Watched it for the first time last night and thought it was very good (it seems like one of those 'gone under the radar' films). Go into this film as cold as possible. Yes, it could do with a new scan/restoration, but it was still decent (the colours at times seemed neutral, and vibrant elsewhere). Quite liked the music score (don't know if it's had a CD album release). The film didn't go the way I thought it was going to go at times (my post-viewing opinion of the film was very good (maybe it was the change of film genre/sub-genre compared to the films I've watched recently, but this is one of my favourite films from recently). Thought the ending [Show spoiler] Having watched the film, the description on the rear sleeve artwork contains sort-of spoilers. |
