I emailed them about whether it will have English subtitles. I will report back when I get a reply.

Not very helpful without even German subtitles as most would be forced to rely on the German dub.

So you're thinking this will have a dub instead of the original English/Danish on the Netflix version?

I just received a reply from Lighthouse Home Entertainment.
Subtitles are not included. The only exception: there are burnt in German subtitles during the scenes with Danish dialogue (there's not a lot of Danish dialogue though). Special features are not included.

I asked: Will it have English subtitles I hope.

Their response:Hi,

you can choose english or german.

Her answer probably referred to the audio tracks? The reply I received was very specific:

"vielen Dank für Ihre Mail! Es befinden sich keine Untertitel auf Blu-ray und DVD. Lediglich die kurzen dänischen Passagen sind fest untertitelt (in Deutsch). Special Features sind nicht erhalten."

Annoying the German subtitles are burnt in for Danish dialogue. Will give it a miss for now and hope it turns up somewhere else.

If you buy the 1080p Vudu version is it the same subtitle setup as the Netflix version? I'm thinking about just doing that until there is a release geared at English speakers aka US/UK/AU.

I checked this out on DVD from the library. The title spoke to me since I will be there in a few weeks and the title underneath did, as well. My ex-GF was 20 when we first started going out. We broke up when she was 22. I'm almost 40 now.

I don't want to grow up!
