OMG, yes! ![]() Day effing one buy. Huge fan of the 1987 arcade and the 1994 SNES remake. I love how the female ninja's "features" haven't been reduced in accordance with the current SJW madness that is plaguing the industry right now. ![]() |

My kind of game.
It's funny that after literally decades, I am still playing the likes of Outrun, Final Fight, Double Dragon and Sly Spy/Secret Agent for example. Only this time at home instead of at the arcades. I don't think I'll still be playing any PS4 game after 20 years from now on. ![]() |

But this game reminds me of some fun side scrolling beat 'em up games, but only on 1 plane, where the character can only go left or right, but not back or forth in perspective as with Streets of Rage or Final Fight. Even so, looks like fun and I'll definitely consider it. Really like the style and graphics. That guy in the red karate suit and yellow hair looks like Ken from Street Fighter 2. |

![]() ![]() As for beat 'em ups, I prefer them when they're like Final Fight and Double Dragon but I don't mind when they're like Ninja Warriors and Shinobi either. It's been such a very long time since I have played Ninja Warriors Again on the SNES, I honestly don't remember if I have completed it with all characters. I do remember though it was expensive to get for me since I bought the Japanese import because of the censorship issues all western releases were having: https://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=3863 |

I see, thanks for the details.
One things happening in today's times is some being overly protective to the point they want everything censored, because it will otherwise offend someone somewhere, often forgetting that a specific game or form of entertainment wasn't intended for all audiences. Kind of like when someone against all violence sees a video game intended for grown ups, has a king Lion of one lion pack, break into another competing Lion Pack's group, killing all of the Lion Cubs, as happens in real life in the wilderness, and then they're offended by that because it's not appropriate for certain people to see it, overlooking that it wasn't made for everyone. Yet they still want it off the market and censored. Same goes for Mortal Kombat, which gets a lot of grief even though it's intended for grown ups. I seriously am surprised to this day that Family Guy is on national TV every Sunday considering all of the offensive stuff in that funny show that offends some people. But it's nice to see it still successful and able to be on TV without being censored off the air. But on topic, the graphics in this game look cool. I like how the backgrounds contrast nicely with the foreground character sprites. The combat looks basic, so I'd have to see if there are more than just a few basic moves in the game. |
